East End Yoga

Our studio has drawn together a variety of styles to experience and our classes range from Power Vinyasa to Gentle Hatha Yoga — there is a place for everyone. Our instructors have all completed a 200-hour Yoga Certification recognized by Yoga Alliance and our own personal yoga experiences make us some of the most compassionate Instructors. Step into our warm, soothing studio and allow our enthusiastic instructors to guide you in finding your personal yoga journey.


Gentle/Beginner Yoga

This class is appropriate for all students seeking the benefits of a relaxing, gentle, and nourishing practice. The combination of gentle hatha and slow vinyasa (flow) is done in a relaxed pace with step-by-step instruction. Alignment cues and modifications are provided throughout. This practice is taught at a slower pace to focus on connecting breath with movement while learning the sequence of poses. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned practitioner looking for a slower pace with a focus on form, breath and relaxation this is the class for you. No prior yoga experience is necessary.

 Tuesday: 4:30-5:45pm, with Gail Cancelled for the summer

Vinyasa Flow   This is a style of Yoga characterized by stringing postures together so that you move from one to another, seamlessly, using breath-synchronized movements. In this class, you will experience a variety of poses liked together in a sequence. No two classes are ever the same experience. The nature of this type of yoga helps to develop a more balanced body energizing you from internal heat.

Power Vinyasa
Power Vinyasa Yoga – All Levels
The Power Vinyasa class is based on the teachings and style of Baron Baptiste and is an energetic, powerful and challenging style of yoga that emphasizes breath, flow and heat.  Built on the foundation set in Vinyasa Yoga Basics, Power Vinyasa Yoga includes more poses to create challenging and fun sequences. While expanding on the principles of physical alignment and breath, you will be challenged to play with your edge and move outside your comfort zone – waking up to what is possible on your mat and in your life! In this Baptiste inspired Power Vinyasa practice you will build strength and flexibility, release tension and clear your mind while having fun exploring your own creative possibilities. This 90-minute practice is playful, engaging and sweaty! We practice in a room is heated to 85-90 degrees, please bring water, towel and a mat.

Wednesday: 8am with Martha just for summer until 21st

Thursday: 6:00-7:15pm, with Belinda
Saturday: 8:00-9:30 am, with Martha

Hatha Yoga

This type of yoga class is designed to be beneficial for everyone. It begins instruction on breathing techniques, allowing stillness to enter the body and mind. After a few stretching and warm-up exercises, students learn some of the basic asanas, or postures, of Hatha yoga with guided step-by-step instruction and gentle sun salutations. Following the asanas, students practice relaxation techniques, allowing their mind and body to rest and release stress, tension and negative energy. Students will leave the class feeling refreshed, relaxed and rejuvenated.
